My Treatment Philosophy:
I’m committed to offering high-quality, affirming care for everyone. My practice is inclusive and respectful, regardless of race, gender, size, ability, health status, religion, age, gender identity or expression, or sexual orientation. I believe that everyone deserves a safe and welcoming space where they can feel understood and valued. By creating an environment of trust and respect, I strive to make therapy a positive and growth-oriented experience. When working with patients, I assume a consultant role. I fully believe that patients are the experts of their own experiences and with effective support, are more than capable of resolving their distress. It is my job to bring years of experience, knowledge about being ‘human’, and insight into ways that we may inadvertently be contributing to our own suffering. Treatment is extremely individualistic and I fully expect that therapy will look very different with each person I meet.
About Me
While I provide professional psychological services, I too am a real person and pride myself on being authentic in my relationship with patients. I genuinely try to “practice what I preach” by also working to live a happier life and maintain the same balance of self-care that I encourage during sessions. Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my husband and children, sharing TikToks with friends, and being outside in the fresh air as much as possible. I’m always happy to chat about local hiking trails, vacation plans, new streaming series recommendations, and Philadelphia sports.
